Canada’s genre-defying brass-funk powerhouse, My Son the Hurricane, storm back onto the scene with their explosive new full-length album, Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow, out today via Vegas Funeral Records. The 14 piece brass-dance crew’s first full length album since 2019, Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow features 11 brand new tracks, guest appearances from Protest the Hero, Quartetto Gelato, and Abdominal, and debuts the band’s incredible new lead vocalist, Sarah Faz.

Speaking on the latest focus track, band leader Danno O’Shea shares, “‘Does Your Mama Know?’ is a song about how falling for someone you know is bad for you, then looking back with clearer eyes and seeing the mistakes you’ve made.”

Having previously collaborated with members of BADBADNOTGOOD, D-Sisive, and USS, the new LP reflects the band’s evolution, both musically and personally. “Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrowrefers to our love for each other as a band and our overwhelmingly positive mindset of trying to see through bleak times with love and adoration, which, these days, is no easy task,” O’Shea adds. “Having Sarah has brought new life and new energy to our already super energetic crew. Sarah is not only a big personality but a strong musician (drums, flute), which brings in new dimensions we haven’t explored.”

The new LP arrives in the midst of an extensive North American tour, with 30+ confirmed dates including their recent performance at The Phoenix Concert Theater in Toronto. Remaining Canadian stops include Calgary, Kelowna, Halifax, Guelph, and more. Full Routing Below.
