Canadian based pop duo Via Barcelonia, release the music video for their new single “Lost and Found”. Written and filmed in LA before COVID, the video is simple yet stunning – the duo really wanted to focus to be on the lyrics and the simplicity of an acoustic sound. “We wrote the song in thinking of the many things you lose and find through life, and the challenges and beauty it presents,” said Andrew Allen.
Comprised of Platinum-selling, international recording artist Andrew Allen and percussionist, vocalist, and producer Taylor McKnight, Via Barcelonia sets out to create pop-influenced world music with a nod to the music of the past and a leap into the music of the future. The duo released their debut single “Just Wanna Dance” in 2018 which reached over 40,000 streams in the first week. Following the success of their hit single, they released their debut EP in 2019, earning them a FACTOR grant for their upcoming EP release. Via Barcelonia has headlined for events including the Richmond World Music Festival, Parks Alive, Harmony Arts Festival, BX Press Cidery, Metabridge Teach Event, and Sun FM Boat Cruise, and have co-written songs with multi-platinum songwriters and productions by JUNO award-winning producers.
