For Victoria Alex, the release of “Screaming” is an anthem, both personally and musically. Recorded with a Toronto-based producer, this is not her first experience with recording. Some may remember her as Victoria Azevedo, former contestant on the first season of CTV’s The Launch whose mentor was Boy George and as a former Mini Pop Kid.

Today at 19 years of age, Victoria is focusing her musical talents and unique sound on connecting with her diverse fans with topics that we can relate to: not being seen or heard, the frustrations with finding your place in the world and falling in love for the first time.

“I am so excited for everyone to hear this single! It reminds me of the Canadian music I grew up listening to, with a bit more edge. I think my fans will love it too, as we have all grown and matured, since I began this journey. I think my music will still speak to them,” Victoria adds.

With her upcoming EP, the Toronto based singer/recording artist is unapologetic; in a respectful way, about the highs and lows of being a strong female in today’s society. She is unafraid to speak the truth for her generation in a way, that everyone can hear.

Victoria Alex’s connection to the experiences in the lyrics; along with the powerful range of her voice, will leave you screaming for more.
