This is the second single and title track from the band’s upcoming album set for release on June 3rd via Toronto-based label Artoffact Records. Having garnered a reputation for forward-thinking and having previously released three well-received albums, it’s no surprise that the band’s upcoming record is being praised by media outlets. I Die: You Die comments on the album saying, “Echoes just immediately became one of our most hotly anticipated records of the year.”The album release on June 3rd will include a limited deluxe double-CD, featuring a bonus album, Surfacer, that includes early demos and outtakes.

Encephalon was formed in 2005 in Ottawa, Canada by Alis Alias, Matt Gifford, and Sam Mainer and self-released a number of demos before getting the attention of labels, most notably the German label Dependent (who put out the band’s first commercially available track), and Artoffact Records, who released the band’s debut, The Transhuman Condition.
