A beautiful blend of Mötley Crüe, Poison, and Whitesnake mixed with Sam Kinison, George Carlin and Andrew “Dice” Clay. Steel Panther takes all of the best sex, drugs, and rock and roll moments we were too high to remember, turns those moments into raunchy and hilarious lyrics, combines them with incredible music, and gives them back to us in their sixth studio album, On The Prowl.
Kicking off the album with the single “Never Too Late (To Get Some Pu**y Tonight), this headbanging stadium anthem will put even the biggest can of Extra Strength Aqua-Net to the test. Hard-hitting “Friends With Benefits” is sure to have you reevaluating your relationship status, wondering if you have a fair and equitable exchange. I’m no expert on this bartering system but a Louis Vuitton for my face to c*m on seems like a pretty good deal to me.
Ballad “On Your Instagram” addresses a crisis that faces so many people in the world today. The passionate and painful lyrics crying out “The girl that I want to screw is on your Instagram,” confronts catfishing, the over-filtered portrayal of a ones’ image on social media, and the devastating effects those lies and deceit can have on a person.
Single “1987” acts as a time capsule for an incredible year, sure to generate a few flashbacks with memorable moments and relatable lyrics like “Poison looking so damn good I wondered if I was gay.” Prepare yourself to take a trip down memory road with this one. Feeling exposed, and really putting oneself out there with “Is My Dick Enough.” This track will help men everywhere come up with the words to satisfy their insecurities and possible shortcomings.
On The Prowl also features bangers like “One Pump Chump” which needs no explanation and “All That And More” which is a powerful proclamation promising “My dick is all that and more!”
