Photos by Orest Dorosh – Daryl Hall is an American musician and singer-songwriter best known as one half of the duo Hall & Oates. Born on October 11, 1946, in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, Hall began his musical career in the late 1960s as a member of the band The Temptones before teaming up with guitarist John Oates to form Hall & Oates.

In addition to his work with Hall & Oates, Daryl Hall has also released several solo albums. His debut solo album, “Sacred Songs,” was released in 1980 and featured collaborations with musician Robert Fripp. He followed this up with the albums “Three Hearts in the Happy Ending Machine” in 1986 and “Soul Alone” in 1993.

Throughout his solo career, Hall has explored a variety of musical styles, incorporating elements of rock, pop, R&B, and soul into his music. He is known for his soulful vocals and skilled songwriting, which have earned him a devoted fan base and critical acclaim.
