Charlotte Day Wilson releases Charlotte Day Wilson (Live at Maida Vale), a special three-track EP featuring live reworkings “Cyan Blue,” “Sleeper,” and “I Don’t Love You”. Originally recorded for Benji B’s BBC Radio 1 show in London’s iconic Maida Vale, these stripped-back solo performances using a Steinway piano breathe new life into the tracks taken from her critically acclaimed sophomore albumCyan Blue, highlighting Wilson’s captivating soulful vocals.

In May, the Toronto-born-and-raised singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist released her highly-anticipated sophomore album, Cyan Blue via Stone Woman Music / XL Recordings. Working alongside producers Leon Thomas (SZA, Ariana Grande, Post Malone), and Jack Rochon (Beyoncé, H.E.R, Daniel Caesar) on Cyan Blue, Day Wilson crafts a smoothly woven cyan tapestry of her eternal influences – thumping gospel piano, warm soul basslines, atmospheric electronics, and penetrating R&B melodies – while also showcasing the next evolution of her time-bending songwriting. Released to wide acclaim, Cyan Blue was hailed by CLASH as “Wilson’s best work to date,” while Billboard declared, “Wilson occupies a lane distinct from most burgeoning R&B stars.”

Alongside the release of the EP, Charlotte Day Wilson announces new UK and Europe live tour dates for Autumn 2024. Kicking off on 29 October in Manchester, the Cyan Blue tour will see her travel to Bristol, London, South Wales, Amsterdam, Paris, Berlin, and Reykjavik. These tour dates add to the previously announced shows in Canada, Japan, and Mexico. Full tour dates are below. For further information or to buy tickets, head to charlottedaywilson.com/Tour

Wilson’s influence in music has made a major mainstream impact. She first broke out in 2016 with her critically acclaimed EP, CDW, followed by 2018’s Stone Woman, and made her debut studio album an official coming out moment in 2021 with the critically acclaimed, self-released Alpha. Over the past decade, she’s been sampled by Drake, John Mayer, and James Blake. Additionally, she’s collaborated with artists like Kaytranada, BADBADNOTGOOD, Snoh Aalegra and SG Lewis, demonstrating that there’s no sound Wilson can’t adapt to and sprinkle her cyan-coloured magic over.
