Photos + Review by David Molnar – The final day of the 12th annual Levitate Music & Arts Festival again unfolded under sunny blue skies and good vibes at the Marshfield, Massachusetts fairgrounds on July 13, 2025. Sunday’s lineup offered a genre-bending journey that perfectly captured the spirit of the music festival by celebrating music, art, and the community.

The day opened with Aldous Collins performing on the Stoke Stage followed by the heartfelt songs of country artist Josiah and the Bonnevilles. The energetic acoustic group Tophouse with their leaping fiddle player William Cook started Sunday off on the Style Stage. As the afternoon progressed bands Linka Moja, Thundercat, Still Woozy and Lawrence all performed at the fairgrounds. The band Lawrence, is a brother and sister group from New York featuring singer Gracie Lawrence. Gracie Lawrence is also a 2025 Tony Award nominee performing in the Broadway play “Just In Time” where she portrays singer Connie Francis. Lawrence also plays the character “Kacey” in the TV show “Sex Lives of College Girls”.

Fan favorite The Elovaters performed their second set of the weekend on the Stoke Stage. Their reggae-infused sound felt like the heartbeat of the music festival. This year new talent were featured on the Songwriter Stage, featuring bands Stella Starfox, Zane Christopher, Lilly Fitts and Nate Ramos. .

Of course, the evening belonged to Dispatch, the beloved indie roots-rock band from Vermont. The crowd swayed and sang along to hits like “The General”, “Yellow Jacket”, “Bang, Bang”, and a terrific cover of Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young’s, “Ohio”. Their set closed out the weekend on a high note.

Beyond the music, Day 2 of the Levitate Music & Arts Festival once again showcased the festival’s dedication to creativity and family-friendly fun. Art installations dotted the fairgrounds, food vendors served up everything from smash burgers, hand-cut fries, potstickers and wonton tacos. With a packed two-day schedule now replacing the former three-day format, Levitate proved it can still deliver an unforgettable musical experience.
