Austin, TX’s Porcelain are excited to share the final preview of their sophomore album, Today’s Minor Victories, out this Friday, October 23, 2026 via TODO Records. “DSD” arrives today, feeling the frustration of hopelessness in a time of political unrest and decay. Unrelenting riffs drive through punchy drums as anxiety grows through the propulsive vocals. An official music video directed by Pooneh Ghana lands alongside the track, showcasing footage of the band on the road and on stage.

“We consider this a sister song to Torch (a song we put on a 7” before this record),” the band explains. “It’s once again watching the horrors of the world unfold in front of your eyes from the comfort of your own home while staring at your phone. Instead of the genocide in Gaza, this has to do with watching ICE raids in Minneapolis, and how a government agency was executing people in the street without due process or probable cause. All in the name of a neo-fascist regime that wants to spew fear, hate, and division amongst our neighbors.”

Porcelain will host a Bandcamp Listening Party on Friday, October 23 at 11:00 AM Eastern Time. Check out all the details here.

Earlier this summer, Porcelain announced their forthcoming album with “Apocalypse,” which was praised by Alternative Press, Brooklyn Vegan, Stereogum, and more. Built from a foundation of metallic riffs and chugging instrumentals, “Apocalypse” reflects on feeling like we are living in the end times, as the band searches for hope among destruction. “Waltz” arrived last month, complete with an official music video featuring the band skateboarding at a local DIY skatepark in Austin and performing in No-Comply Skate Shop with pro skater Ryan Thompson. “Waltz” simmers with a slow build, channeling the isolation of depression into pummeling guitars.

Today’s Minor Victories is 47 minutes of dynamic post-hardcore recorded live with minimal layering at Estuary Studios in Austin, engineered and mixed by Scott Evans and mastered by Greg Obis at Chicago Mastering Service. The record leans into grief, loss, and perseverance, with the title reflecting the small things that get you through to seeing tomorrow. Sonically, the band arrives tighter and more direct than ever, a result of heavy touring and reworking parts live before recording.

Porcelain’s most expansive tour yet opens with two release shows at Hole in the Wall in Austin on October 22 and 23, with Shallowater and Team Trust the first night and Water Damage and Last Days of Disco the second. It works through the Midwest and South in November with Zastava, Nightosphere and Tipper Gore. December picks up in Atlanta, climbs the East Coast to Montreal and Toronto with My Wife is An Angel, then loops back through Detroit, Indianapolis and St. Louis before closing in Fayetteville, AR on December 15.
