Splitting time between Cape Cod and NYC, When she is not performing in theater or acting in film, Stott is the bewitching synergy between Joni Mitchell and Chrissie Hynde, performing sincere and engaging songs about social change and observation. After recently releasing her acclaimed tracks “Water to Blood” (an Earth Day song) and a dance remix of her track “I Can’t Hide” (Audible Yays), Stott now releases her latest single “Future Ruin”, each produced by her longtime collaborator and producer Barb Morrison (they/them) (Blondie, Rufus Wainwright).

Stott states on “Future Ruin”, “Those moments when we can watch ourselves doing the same thing that got us in the same mess before, but we don’t know how to change. And you desperately want someone else to break you open, but you can’t quite find the courage to ask. The fleeting nature of connection. That dreamlike state of what almost was, like you can almost touch the moments where what you wanted was lost. The hypnotizing nature of our sadness.”
