Pennsylvania band Another Day Dawns — singer Dakota Sean, guitarist Tyler Ritter, bassist Jerome Betz, and drummer Nick McGeehan — have shared the video for their crackling new single “Bitter.” Watch the clip, directed by Max Portnoy (drummer for Code Orange, Tallah), here.
“‘Bitter’ really goes to the root of uncomfortable situations with people in our lives that never get addressed, and there’s just this kinda ‘off’ feeling about them,” Sean explains, offering insight into the track. “In this case, it’s a parental figure that left at a young age, which made me go through life in a bitter way. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve learned that separation really is the best defense in these scenarios. But unfortunately, that ‘what if’ will always be in the back of your mind.”
Another Day Dawns will spend the spring touring with Bush and Breaking Benjamin. They will also support Filter for a spate of dates at the end of May. All dates are below.

ABOUT ANOTHER DAY DAWNS:
ANOTHER DAY DAWNS continue their ascent as one of the most exciting portents of heavy rock with the release of their new single and Century Media debut, “Bitter.” The band, along with producer Steve Sopchak (Ice Nine Kills. Motionless In White) and mixer Jeff Dunne (Brand of Sacrifice, Ice Nine Kills), brings together a pummeling riffiness and unforgettable sense of melody that defines the Wilkes-Barre, PA-based band as a force to be reckoned with.
“Bitter” is the next step for ANOTHER DAY DAWNS, who began making a racket of their own as high school aged friends in 2010. Countless electric and acoustic shows later, opening for the likes of Sevendust, Starset, and Atreyu as well as rock festivals including Aftershock, Blue Ridge, and Louder Than Life, they’ve honed themselves into a powerhouse in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic region. The independent release of their 2018 EP, A Different Life, landed them a charting spot on Billboard’s rock charts which solidified their foundation in the active rock market, while the singles “Taste of Heaven” and “Forget Me Not” from 2020’s Stranger EP release were mainstays on the Mediabase Active Rock chart as well as DSP Playlists.
Presently finishing their first full length for Century Media with Sopchak and Dunne, ANOTHER DAY DAWNS are gearing up for their first full-fledged arena tour with Breaking Benjamin and Bush (4/26-5/23) and a club jaunt with Filter (5/26-6/3) with festivals including Louder Than Life (9/23) already on the books. In 2023, the next generation of rock has a new face — ANOTHER DAY DAWNS.
