Today, award-winning country star Gord Bamford shares the official music video for ‘Fire It Up’, the blazing title track off his 11th studio album (Fire It Up) released in April via Anthem Records. With behind-the-scenes footage captured during multiple stops on the celebrated artist’s Canadian Dirt Tour, the video highlights the high-energy atmosphere fostered by Bamford night after night during his live show. Bamford stars alongside members of his band who ignite the stage as packed crowds of fans dance and sing along to each and every song that the 2x CMA and 26x CCMA award-winner performs.
About the title-track, Bamford shares, “‘Fire It Up’ has such great energy and a fresh sound that I’m very enthusiastic to share and perform for fans. It’s the perfect lift you up, and get going, kind of tune. Lyrically it is meant to ignite that fire within, that we all possess. It’s about living in the now, encouraging us to get on it, and take it to the next level, whatever that means to you.”
Most recently, Bamford was nominated for a 2023 CCMA Award for “Musical Collaboration Of The Year” for his previously released single ‘I Ain’t Drunk’ featuring celebrated country star Terri Clark. The collaboration was included on Bamford’s album Diamonds In A Whiskey Glass Deluxe Diamond Edition. In April, following his own time-tested formula while bolstering 100 million streams and 5 billion global audience impressions at radio, Bamford released the musically robust studio album ‘Fire It Up’. Comprised of stand-alone singles and arena anthems, Bamford delivers song after song blending hard moments with powerful and compassionate reflections, remaining true to the country sound that has helped define his decorated career.
Last month, Bamford announced the expansion of his widely successful Canadian Dirt Tour, adding 31 new dates to the already significant run including stops in Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan. “The tour has been an absolute blast so far,” expresses Bamford. “This show is high energy and entertaining and I can’t wait to see ya out on the road!”
