Keznamdi’s full length debut ‘Bloodline’ came out in 2019 and he accompanied Collie Buddz on his North American Hybrid tour selling out venues while gaining fans and traction for the first single drop off ‘Bloodline’,Love Mi Nuff”, a dancehall/hip-hop smash record produced by dancehall legend, Sukuward. This wildly successful tour laid the foundation for a 5-day spin-off show in Florida in March 2020. The release of Bloodline’ accompanied with Keznamdi’s strong line-up at popular festivals including: Reggae Rise Up Florida (FL), Cali Roots Festival (CA), and Reggae On The Rocks 2020 (CO). The visionary, The artist, and proactivist, Keznamdi is building a legacy with a celebrated catalog streamed over 20 million times with sell-out tours across North America, the Caribbean, and beyond. Born in Kingston Jamaica, to Rastafari parents with an iconic reggae outfit Chakula, Keznamdi grew up with both musical and activist influences. Like his siblings and other Rastafari youths, Keznamdi was discriminated against for his looks, his outlook and his livity and was under constant victimization from teachers and bullying from students. Recorded at his family’s Skyline Levels studio in Jamaica, mixed in Miami and mastered at Abbey Road, the project was released in 2019 to critical acclaim. Keznamdi has a long list of A-List collaborations, including ZHU and A-Trak on the hypnotic crossover hit “As Crazy As It Is,” A co-write with Poo Bear [Justin Bieber, Sam Smith], the single “Champion” saw him deliver another reggae #1. The artist’s “Stoner’s Remix” series soared to peak popularity as “Herbs”—his take on Rihanna’s“Work” [feat. Drake]—received looks from Pitchfork and The Fader.
