11x GRAMMY® Award-winning superstar Bruno Mars has made history once again with the RIAA diamond certification of his worldwide chart-topping hit single, “Locked Out Of Heaven.” The certification affirms Mars as the first artist in the history of RIAA’s Gold and Platinum Program to achieve six Diamond Single Awards following the previous diamond certifications of “Just the Way You Are” (13x platinum), “Grenade” (10x platinum), “When I Was Your Man” (11x platinum), “That’s What I Like” (10x platinum), and Mark Ronson Feat. Bruno Mars’s “Uptown Funk! (11x platinum) with over 10 million sales and streams each. With his sixth Diamond Single Award, Mars now represents a stunning 7.79% of the total 77 diamond certifications presented by the RIAA since its inception in 1999.
Celebrating the official opening of Allianz Stadium, Mars is set to perform the first two live and exclusive concerts held at the arena on October 14th and 15th in Sydney, Australia. This will mark the stadium’s first two sold-out shows of their opening entertainment events.
Following the 64th Annual GRAMMY® Awards, where they walked away with Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year, Best R&B Performance and Best R&B Song; for their, worldwide chart-topping smash, “Leave The Door Open,” Mars alongside Anderson .Paak’s debut album, An Evening With Silk Sonic, received a platinum certification.
