Canadian Pop-Country artist, Jordyn Pollard was selected to be the first-ever Stingray Music Trending Track Artist for her catchy new single “Back To Us”. The single features Jordyn’s charming vocals in an upbeat track that reminisces on going back to the good moments in life with that special someone.
Leading music, media, and technology company, Stingray started the Trending Track initiative with Jordyn’s track on October 12, and they will continue to support emerging Canadian talent on participating country radio stations. Every other month, Stingray will select a different artist’s track to be featured and receive two months of support and a minimum of 25 spins per week across 19 stations.
A Lloydminster, SK native, Jordyn grew up on a family farm with a passion for songwriting and recording, dreaming that one day she would make it as big as the artists she sang along to. With a unique combination of talent, determination, and self-assuredness, Jordyn is already on the path of chasing her dreaming, earning a reputation as a top up-and-coming singer/songwriter on the western Canadian scene.
“I do love songwriting and recording, but I really love playing – when I get to jam out with the band, it is the best time ever. That’s what I grew up wanting to do, be on stage and interacting with the audience and the band. I love being full of energy and I love putting on a show. It’s so much of who I am as an artist,” says Jordyn.
Jordyn’s single ‘Good On Me’ was released earlier in 2020 and made the top-100 on BDS and continues to garner airplay. She was named Sask Country Music’s 2020 Emerging Artist of the Year and has shared the stage with established country artists including Brett Kissel, Jojo Mason, and Gord Bamford.
