Waterloo-based rockers Sierra Pilot have just shared a new music video for their anthemic, guitar-driven single “Adrenaline”, which was released to streaming in January.
“Adrenaline” is about being so close to the one you want, but not being able to touch them or be with them”, says Sierra Pilot leader Taylor Leith. “We wanted the video to emulate that feeling”.The high-energy video helps bring the premise of the song to life, illustrating concurrent timelines between the subjects of the song yet their respective timelines never manage to intersect.
Directed and shot by Newfoundland-based Stephen Green of City Centre Media and Film, who was also being the lens on Sierra Pilot’s “Keys To The City”, the fast-paced clip also features a strong live performance element. “The band performs together and separately throughout the video, along with the female lead (Carly Psutka), giving the feeling of each person being in the same space but in different dimensions,” explains Leith.
Adrenaline is the 3rd single from Sierra Pilot’s forthcoming album, “Phantom Pains”, due out later this year.
