Award-winning country star Matt Lang, released the music video for his catchy new single “All Night Longer” (Symphonic Distribution). Produced by Danick Dupelle (Tebey, Tyler Joe Miller, David James), “All Night Longer” is a feel good country song about having a special someone on your mind all day long and looking forward to spending the night with them, never wanting it to end. The song is from Matt’s highly-anticipated forthcoming album, which is set to be released later this year.
The music video for the track was filmed in Rawdon, QC and directed by Movik Productions. It captures the laid-back and fun essence of the song, with accompanying visuals that welcome viewers into a vintage, 70s-style house party.
“I love to have a good time and live in the moment, whether that’s with my friends and family or with my band or my fans at shows. To me, ‘All Night Longer’ is about wanting to keep those special moments last as long as possible,” said Matt Lang. “The music video reflects that, a simple night in with your buddies and enjoying every minute of it.”
Hailing from Maniwaki, QC, Lang journeyed to Nashville to record his first English-language album in early 2018. At that time, he didn’t speak English, yet the album that came as a result of that trip quickly shot to #1 on the iTunes Country Album chart following its release in 2018. It included the singles “Love Me Some You” and “My Final Pour,” which have garnered over 10 million streams to date.
In September 2019, he continued to gain momentum after winning the national SiriusXM Top of the Country competition, three awards at Québec’s Country Gala, a SOCAN’s Country Music Award, and received his first ADISQ nomination for English Album of the Year. In June 2020, he released his second EP More, which had four singles reach the Top 20 at Canadian country radio, including his popular tracks “Getcha” and “In a Bar.” That same year, Lang received his first CCMA nomination in the Rising Star Category and an ADISQ nomination for Live Show of the Year.
Since then, he has performed hundreds of live shows to ever-growing audiences and is back on the road in Canada again, following his performances at the Boots and Buckle Festival in the UK and opening for Luke Combs at Festival d’Été de Québec. Most recently, Lang announced that he will be joining Aaron Pritchett on his 2024 cross-Canada Liquored Up Tour alongside Cory Marks. Matt and Cory also came together to feature on Aaron Pritchett’s recent single “Liquored Up”.
