Los Angeles-based troubadour, Craig Stickland, releases the powerful single and visual for While We Wait For The Sun To Rise today. The song is the title track of Stickland’s forthcoming 3-song EP, due out this spring via 21 Entertainment/eOne.

Stickland says, “2020 was an incredibly tough year. It caused the world to take a step back from everything we were used to. While We Wait For The Sun To Rise is an EP that was written and recorded during the quarantine in my cabin studio, inspired by the pandemic we’re living through. The title track of the EP is about feeling overwhelmed and helpless. It’s a song about finding someone to help you wait out the storm, for a time when things can be simple again.”

The singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist recently released the piano-driven Enemy, a modern day torch song about the melancholy of moving on after a relationship is over.  Late last year, he also released Break Every Rule Spanish Remix with GRAMMY and Latin GRAMMY nominee, singer/songwriter, Raquel Sofia.  The original track was featured on Stickland’s debut album, Starlit Afternoon, released in early 2020.
