Indie-folk trio Distant Cousins will release a new holiday single “My Eight Favorite Nights” on December 16, 2022. The track, written by Brad Delson of Linkin Park and Landon Pigg and performed by Distant Cousins, captures the “…stirring pop-folk harmonies in line with The Lumineers and The Avett Brothers” (-Glide Magazine) that have become a signature of the band.
“This song is its own little Hanukkah miracle for us,” says Cousin Dov Rosenblatt. “We were thrilled when Brad, who we’ve been fans of for years, approached us about this collaboration for us to record his beautiful Hanukkah song he co-wrote with Landon. We recorded it the next day and we’re so excited about how it all came together so organically. In a time when light is needed more than ever, we’re honored to be a part of this.”
“My Eight Favorite Nights” will be featured in the Hallmark Channel film about Hanukkah called “Hanukkah on Rye” that premieres on Sunday, December 18th starring Jeremy Jordan,Yael Grobglas, and Lisa Loeb.
