Rising alternative Boston rock band Fai Laci have unveiled their debut album, Elephant In The Room, arriving on Friday, June 26, via Easy Eye Sound. Pre-orders/pre-saves are available now. Produced by Dan Auerbach at his Easy Eye Sound Studios in Nashville, Elephant In The Room is heralded by the brand new single, “Elephant,” available everywhere now alongside an official music video premiering today on YouTube.
“This song is about relationships that you see are fleeting,” says Fai Laci founder Luke Faillaci. “Ones that you put all of the red flags out of mind in order to preserve the image that you have in your head. The heavy sounds fill the song with a darkness, but parts like the guitar solo allow it to explode out of that darkness. The guitar solo blows my mind every time I hear it.”
Fai Laci – who rocked New York City last night with an album showcase live performance at Night Club “101” – will mark the arrival of Elephant In The Room with their biggest US tour schedule thus far, including headline dates and a very special run as guests on The Black Keys’ much-anticipated Peaches ’N Kream World Tour. Newly announced headline shows begin May 14 at Amherst, MA’s The Drake and continue through late June. For complete details and ticket information, please visit www.failaci.com/tour.
Fai Laci are a band with a mission, and Elephant In The Room is the ideal vehicle to achieve it. The Boston-based quintet was founded by Luke Faillaci following the 2022 release of the first Fai Laci EP, Conversation, recorded in his college bedroom and highlighted by tracks such as “Five” and “Gypsy Lover,” both of which soon earned millions of streams worldwide thanks to their expressive vocals and urgent songcraft. With no real plan other than to make great music, Faillaci pulled together his closest and most dedicated musical friends – Michael Goldblatt, Zack Putnam, Cal Hamandi, and Anthony Cervone – and officially formed Fai Laci, releasing their second independent EP, Knock at My Door, in early 2024. A fervent grassroots following soon grew in the Northeast and beyond, resulting in increasingly larger live shows and total streams for both EPs now over 15M. Signing to Easy Eye Sound in 2025, Fai Laci built upon this momentum with a string of acclaimed singles, including “Angels and the Others,” “Grains of Sand” (featured on the cover of Spotify’s influential “New Noise” playlist), and the explosive “Have You Nothing Left to Say,” all joined by official music videos streaming now on YouTube.

Elephant In The Room now sees Fai Laci blending the urgency of punk and the stomp of glam with the theatricality of classic rock, all bound together by the band’s sharp swagger and Faillaci’s boundless charisma. The album includes such bangers as the decadent “Sarasota” and the jittery new wave “Headlights,” each a showcase for their inventive guitars and nimble rhythm section. Confident and surprisingly diverse, with brazen rockers and bruised-heart ballads, Elephant In The Room instantly catapults Fai Laci to the forefront of alternative rock and beyond.
“We never set out to make a certain kind of sound,” says Faillaci. “It takes us wherever it takes us. We got more into the rock side of things on the album, but we also wanted to have some really beautiful songs on it. We wanted to have something for everybody.”
