Country music singer/songwriter Gavin Lee recently released his new single “American Crazy.” With traditional country lyrics like worked all week for a poor man’s dollar, it’s Friday, time for a holler and a swaller, “American Crazy” is sure to get listeners in the spirit right in time for Independence Day. “We sat down and wrote American Crazy during the COVID-19 pandemic when no one could go out and do anything,” Gavin explains. “American Crazy relates to the average, everyday, hard-working American.”
About Gavin Lee:
Raised in Fort Myers, Florida, Gavin Lee discovered his love for music at a young age. His mom always had music playing while Gavin was growing up – everything from Classic Rock to Country and Pop. He taught himself to play guitar at age ten and began taking professional lessons in high school as a way to cope with his parents’ divorce. After attending a Lynyrd Skynyrd concert as a sophomore in high school, Gavin knew he was destined to perform on stage.
Since moving to Nashville, Tennessee in 2017, Gavin has released five singles – Old Chevy, Gone Fishin’, Dixie Dreamin’, Millionaire in Mexico and Friend With a Beer. His sound has been influenced by traditional 90’s country artists, as well as the likes of Jason Aldean, Riley Green and Luke Combs. His down-home, dirt-roads and hardworking man identity, coupled with a big heart and endearing smile, has gained Gavin an enormous grassroots following.
