Goldie Luxx releases the striking video for her debut single ‘DRM’ today. The song from the California native details a common young love story, inside an alternative R&B vibe. The clip, directed by Embryo(His video for Iyla’s ‘Strings‘ has nearly 1.5M views so far) was shot in the hills of Los Angeles and the shows the un-webbing of a toxic attachment between two lovebirds.  “When people listen to my music, I want it to feel as if they’ve taken ecstasy. I want them to be able to grab a feeling they relate to in the song, and for them to want to listen to it again when it’s over!”

Santa Barbara native Goldie Luxx utilizes music as a tool to inspire people to be themselves. Her name plays on her golden curls and the desire to deliver a luxurious listening experience. The 21-year-old singer moved to Hollywood to pursue music and was  greatly inspired by the soul and reggae records her mother played for her as a child. Goldie has another soulful single on deck ‘Spend Time’ featuring Big Jade slated to be released later this year.
