Canadian rockers GOODNIGHT SUNRISE share their new music video for “One Pill” today. Taking us higher with every note, the band released the music video at exactly 11:11AM ET and it can be watched at THIS location! David Kochberg (vocals, guitar) speaks about the concept of the video, “We spoke with director Erica Orofino about the themes of disconnection in One Pill, and she came up with this genius green screen concept of us in elaborate colourful outfits against different psychedelic visuals while being totally zoned out and oblivious to the beauty in the background. It gave the scenes this alternate reality vibe, re-interpreting the ways we zone out in our lives through our TVs, phones, jobs, and relationships.”
Vanessa Vakharia (keytar, vocals) adds, “Shooting the video for One Pill was legit the most fun we’ve had in two years – the entire team Erica assembled was incredible, and performing with an actual real life band again made us SO excited to get back on a real stage this spring!”
Produced by Brian Moncarz (Alice Cooper, Circa Survive) and featuring Duncan Coutts (bass) and Jason Pierce (drums) of Our Lady Peace, the track perfectly captures the energy of the band’s live shows. Released in late February, it was added to several playlists including Ready to Rock (Spotify), Fresh Rock (Amazon Music), All New Rock (Spotify), Brand New Music (Amazon Music) and Exclaim Magazine’s Eh List.
