Born in Hollywood, Florida and raised in Buffalo, New York, JES JUSTICE began writing music at the age of 14, citing a mix of the Janis Joplin, Jewel, and Reba McEntyre and as her earliest influences. At 18 Jess moved to NYC to perform in the bar and club scene at such historical venues as the Bitter End and Rockwood Music Hall. In 2009 Jess released her first album, Mirrors and has since been a featured vocalist touring with Zak Smith Band and numerous projects as well as touring nationally as a solo artist.
Jes moved to Nashville in January 2017 and has been an artist in residence at many of the most iconic bars in Music City including The Stage, Legends, and Tootsies. Her newest release “The Band Played On” is due out August 3rd, 2020, and is produced by Jayson Chance who has produced and recorded with artists like Colt Ford, Gretchen Wilson and Lee Greenwood.
