The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) announced today that tickets for JUNO Songwriters’ Circle Presented by SOCAN and FACTOR in association with Music Publishers Canada, are now available for purchase. The first live iteration of the show in three years, the ‘Jewel of JUNO Week’ will be hosted by CBC’s Tom Power and offer untapped insight into the making of some of Canada’s most iconic songs. This year’s event broadcasts from Massey Hall on CBC Music, CBC Radio One and streams live via CBCMusic.ca/junos, CBC Gem and CBC Music’s Facebook,Twitter, TikTok and YouTube pages. CARAS acknowledges the financial support of FACTOR, the Government of Canada and of Canada’s private radio broadcasters in helping make this event possible.
Tickets for JUNO Songwriters’ Circle are available for purchase online at https://masseyhall.mhrth.com. Tickets start at $29.50 plus fees and taxes with $1 from every ticket sold going towards MusiCounts, Canada’s music education charity associated with the JUNO Awards, in celebration of their 25th Anniversary.
After a massive revitalization, Toronto’s legendary Massey Hall will host the acclaimed concert series, where some of Canada’s most revered songwriters and 2022 JUNO Award nominees will captivate audiences with stripped down performances and intimate side stage conversations. The first round of performing artists include five-time JUNO nominee Charlotte Day Wilson, indie rocker and six-time JUNO Award winner Serena Ryder, rapper, singer and JUNO Award winner TOBi and Tamara Lindeman from the two-time JUNO nominated folk band The Weather Station.
