Hot on the heels of performing at the Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) Songwriter Unplugged series, rising Hamilton-based country artist and multiple CMAOntario Award nominee, Karli June is thrilled to be named this months Roger Radio “One To Watch” artist for her new single “Feel Like Home” featuring Ryan Langdon.
Via the program, the song will be instantly added to the Canadian heavy category across 8 Rogers Country Stations, enjoy month long on air promo and Karli will be the exclusive spotlight as “Featured Artist” on Boomers Canadian Club.
Produced by Gavin Slate (Tim Hicks, James Barker Band) and written by Gavin and Karli, “Feel Like Home” is an anthemic country-pop love song that tells the nostalgic tale of growing up in a small town, where every street and landmark holds cherished memories. Ryan Langdon, the former MLB prospect renowned for his powerful oak-barrel baritone, joins Karli on the summer love song.
The music video, directed by Tour Bus Entertainment at Listowel Arena, shows a glimpse into what a hometown show for Karli is like.
“The song is about finding someone that feels as “right” as being back where you’re from.. and for me that’s in my small town of Listowel,”said Karli June. “It was awesome to shoot the video at a live show back there with Ryan Langdon. I think the video really captures our vibe performing together – and the energy of the song!”
