Following a career-changing 2020, Lindsay Ell has announced details surrounding her first Canadian headlining tour. Set to kick off on November 21, the wAnt me back tour will see the GOLD-certified performer take to the stage in markets across Alberta and Ontario. Tickets will be available via pre-sale starting tomorrow (July 20).
“It feels so incredible to get back to playing live music. Not that I’ve ever taken performing for granted, but I have a whole new appreciation for hitting that stage,” says Ell. “After not seeing my family or any of my Canadian fans for almost two years, words can’t even describe the excitement in my heart for crossing that border this fall!”
Playing more than 200 shows in 2019, Ell will showcase tracks from her critically-acclaimed sophomore album heart theory as she steps onto the stage for her first Canadian live performance in more than a year. Supporting her on all dates of this key-market run is Warner Music Nashville’s Robyn Ottolini, best known for her viral smash hit ‘F150.’
Celebrating her second #1 late last year, 2021 has seen Ell earn her first JUNO nomination(Country Album of the Year), first GOLD-certified single (“wAnt me back”) and celebrate the release of both a chart-topping UK hit (“hits me”) and a duet with labelmate Jimmie Allen(“Tequila Talkin’”). Ell will spend this summer performing at festivals across the United States and heading out on the Blake Shelton Friends and Heroes 2021 Tour in late August.

Earning more than 200M global streams, Ell was the first Canadian female artist to earn a #1 single in more than a decade in 2017 with her chart topping single “Criminal.” Following the success of this release, Ell went on to win two CCMA Awards, became a CMA and ACM Award nominee and earned her first #1 in the U.S. alongside Brantley Gilbert with “What Happens In A Small Town” in November 2019. This remarkable achievement made Lindsay the first Canadian artist to earn this status since 2007 and the first Canadian female artist since 2003.
