Sense is the new single from Berlin indie rock band LOBSTERBOMB and is released on all platforms on 11/02/2022. Sense is about living in a way that seems chaotic to others but makes sense to you. It deals with the idea of finding the balance between functioning in daily life and maintaining a sense of self when medications subdue the strength of your emotions. When you need to release your frustrations and just want to scream, Sense is the kind of song you can play at maximum volume. The song was recorded DIY style by LOBSTERBOMB at the end of 2021 and the track is mixed by Peter Thoms of popular German punk band Akne Kid Joe.
Indie rock band LOBSTERBOMB formed in Berlin in early 2020. Starting a band just prior to a pandemic may not have been ideal, but with limitations also came focus and an appreciation for what really matters. LOBSTERBOMB used this period of forced reflection to create songs that mix the frustrations and fears of the times with an optimistic desire
for seizing the moment to make positive changes. This was expressed in the run of upbeat singles in early 2021 followed by their debut EP ‘Go! Go! Go!’ in July. LOBSTERBOMB makes fun, fast and catchy indie rock with proudly rough edges.
LOBSTERBOMB have performed live in Berlin and around Germany, combining their raw and energetic performance with a colourful and fun stage presence. Sharing the stage with bands such as Laura Lee & The Jettes, Isolation Berlin, 24/7 Diva Heaven and Akne Kid Joe and many more, LOBSTERBOMB look forward to returning to the road in 2022 (dates TBA).
LOBSTERBOMB are Nico Rosch(vocals/guitar – she/her), Vik Chi(drums – she/her) and Crayon Jones(guitar/vocals – he/him).
