Adding to an already stacked catalog of country love songs, Songs & Daughters songbird Madison Kozak returns today with “One Girl To Another,” available everywhere now. Written by Kozak, Pete Good, AJ Babcock, and Brandon Ratcliff and produced by Chris LaCorte, “One Girl To Another” is Kozak’s note to the ex that came before her. It acknowledges the lessons that her partner’s past relationship taught him that made him the man Kozak gets to love today.

“I often think about the worlds that must have collided for me to get to where I am today,” Kozak shares. “What all had to have gone right (or wrong) so that I would meet a boy in Nashville who grew up a few towns from where I did in Ontario. It’s a big thought, and there are many ‘thank yous’ I could make – but the day I wrote ‘One Girl To Another’ I had one person in mind. So first off, thanks to her. Here’s to minor chords and major feelings.”
This weekend, CMT Hot 20 has the exclusive premiere of the “One Girl To Another” official music video, directed by Justin Clough, on their weekly countdown airing Saturday (6/25) and Sunday (6/26) at 9 a.m. ET / 8 a.m. CT. Fans in New York can catch the clip on Paramount’s Times Square billboard Saturday at 12 p.m. and 5 p.m ET, while music lovers everywhere can watch it on CMT.com starting at 9 a.m. CT. Kozak will return to her home province of Ontario later this summer to perform at Boots and Hearts, after which she’ll head to Montreal for the inaugural LASSO Festival.
