Canadian, country-punk pioneer Manny Blu marks his return to Toronto on Monday, September 20. Performing at the “Country Music Showcase,” Blu will celebrate the return of live music alongside Elyse Saunders and more at one of Toronto’s coolest, intimate venues — the Belgian Moon Brewery inside Stackt Market. Blu’s show in Toronto kicks off a series of Canadian shows throughout September, including stops planned for in Peterborough, a hometown show in Montreal and a spot at the upcoming Lotbinière Country Festival in Quebec.
Doors for the “Country Music Showcase” at Stackt Market open at 5:30pm EST and capacity is limited. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to avoid disappointment.
Blu’s run of Ontario & Quebec shows in September bring the Montreal-born artist home to celebrate what has been the most successful year of his career. Just last month Blu released his sophomore EP DEViL, a complete country mixtape that combines love stories, ballads and one powerhouse country rock-infused party anthem thatevery listener can relate to and enjoy. The EP also features collaborations with Blaine Holcomb and Canadian vocalist, and fellow Montreal-native, Brittany Kennell.
Creating a name for himself as his music has developed, Blu has built a global fanbase. Along with the release of his new EP this year, Blu found a following on TikTok and completed his Live & Turned Up Volume 2 series, born from the success of his Live & Turned Up concert series. With many Canadian plans already in the works for later this year, Blu looks forward to kicking them all off with a party with the fans that have supported him since day one.
