“Kylie” is the debut single from Midge Robie, two brothers from Ohio with a ridiculous amount of talent and the ambition to get it heard. The single is a tongue-in-cheek tale of an LA girl who runs the show and doesn’t have time for anyone. At first glance, it feels superficial, but there’s an emotional depth teased out by the brothers dynamic voices, and the Post Malone-esque drawl that infuses the hook with a sense of longing and desperation.
