Breakout country sensation Molly Lovette is kicking off the new year with a new duet, collaborating with Missouri-based alternative/pop lead singer Trevor Cissell. Love You Loud is now available on all digital streaming platforms includingSpotify, Apple Music, and more.
After the snowballing success of her holiday release, Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas and her last release One Woman Show, Molly is ecstatic to jumpstart 2021 with a passionate and rebellious duet. Love You Loud showcases a pop alternative spin on her country sweetheart style.
Like Molly, her counterpart Trevor is a Missouri native and lead singer of alternative band Other Side of the Pillow. “I met Trevor last year when I was visiting a friend in Kansas City,” says Molly. “We got talking about music and decided that one day we would have to collab! In typical 2020 fashion, we did a co-write over FaceTime back in September and in November, I made the trip to Kansas City to record with Trevor where the very talented C’eon created this beat and brought our song to life.”
This song, which tells the story of two friends trying to keep their love hidden, has truth behind it. “My music shows honesty and relatability, pulling inspirations from my personal life and this one also does just that. I have been in a place of really liking someone and being afraid to show it, when in reality all I wanted to do was love them loud.” With smooth melodies over a commercial drum groove, the production of this song sets a mood that is beautifully complimented by dynamic harmonies and intriguing lyrics.
