Photos by Brad Goldstein – Barenaked Ladies are a Canadian alternative rock band formed in 1988 in Scarborough, Ontario. The band consists of Ed Robertson (guitar, vocals), Jim Creeggan (bass, vocals), Kevin Hearn (keyboard, guitar, vocals), and Tyler Stewart (drums, vocals).

The band’s music is known for its catchy melodies, witty lyrics, and quirky sense of humor. They gained international fame with their hit song “One Week” in 1998, which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Other popular songs include “It’s All Been Done,” “Pinch Me,” and “Brian Wilson.”

Over the years, Barenaked Ladies have released a total of 15 studio albums, with their most recent being “Detour de Force” in 2021. They have received several Juno Awards (Canada’s equivalent of the Grammys) and have been inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.

Barenaked Ladies are known for their energetic live performances and have toured extensively throughout North America and beyond. They continue to be a popular and influential band in the alternative rock scene.
