Photos by Kyle McNeil – Filipino-British singer Beabadoobee is currently on tour across North America and recently made her way up to Canada playing in Toronto on December 1st at the History concert venue. The singer is originally from the Philippines but calls London, England her home and has the accent to prove it. Her fans certainly showed up for her and in fact I think at times it might have been the loudest I have ever heard the crowd at History. Beabadoobee and her backing band is currently on the road touring for her latest album “Beatopia” that came out this past summer.
Her group has already been on the road with other famous acts like The 1975 and Clairo so she is no stranger to playing large concerts. Beabadoobee would go on to play all her hit songs as well as the song that most people recognize her for which is “Death Bed (Coffee for Your Head)”. The singer switched between the electric guitar and the acoustic a few times throughout the set. Beabadoobee is set to complete her tour in Boston on December the 4th but is scheduled to be back on the road in Europe in 2023 so be sure to check out her live music if she is in your city.
