Photos by Orest Dorosh – Daughtry is an American rock band formed in 2006 by frontman Chris Daughtry, who gained fame as a finalist on the fifth season of American Idol. The band’s lineup also includes guitarists Josh Steely and Brian Craddock, bassist Josh Paul, and drummer Brandon Maclin.

After placing fourth on American Idol, Chris Daughtry signed a record deal with RCA Records and formed the band that would bear his name. Their self-titled debut album, “Daughtry,” was released in 2006 and became a massive success, selling over 4 million copies in the United States. It produced several hit singles, including “It’s Not Over” and “Home,” which received widespread radio play and further established the band’s popularity.
