Photos by Scott Mayberry – Parker McCollum is an American country singer-songwriter from Austin, Texas. He was born on June 15, 1992, and grew up in Conroe, Texas. McCollum started playing guitar at a young age and quickly developed a passion for music. He began writing and performing his own songs while attending Texas State University.

In 2013, McCollum independently released his debut album, “The Limestone Kid,” which gained attention and praise from country music fans. He continued to build his fanbase through frequent touring and live performances. McCollum’s music is often characterized by his heartfelt lyrics, catchy melodies, and a modern twist on traditional country sound.

In 2019, McCollum gained significant mainstream recognition with the release of his EP, “Hollywood Gold.” The lead single from the EP, “Pretty Heart,” reached the top of the Billboard Country Airplay chart, becoming McCollum’s first number one hit. This success further solidified his position in the country music scene and brought him a larger audience.

Throughout his career, Parker McCollum has shared the stage with notable country artists such as Randy Rogers Band, Miranda Lambert, and Eli Young Band.
