Frampton began playing the guitar at a young age and gained popularity in the late 1960s and early 1970s as a member of the bands The Herd and Humble Pie.

In 1976, Frampton released his highly successful solo album, “Frampton Comes Alive!”, which reached number one on the charts and sold millions of copies. It featured hit singles like “Show Me the Way,” “Baby, I Love Your Way,” and “Do You Feel Like We Do.” The album propelled him to international stardom and solidified his reputation as a skilled guitarist and songwriter.

Frampton continued to release successful albums throughout the 1970s and 1980s, including “I’m in You” and “Breaking All the Rules.” However, his popularity waned in the 1990s due to changing musical trends. Nonetheless, he remained active in the music industry, collaborating with various artists and touring extensively.

Frampton gained a resurgence in popularity in 2019 after announcing his Farewell Tour, which was interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. He released a critically acclaimed live album, “Frampton Forgets the Words,” in 2021, showcasing his guitar skills and musical maturity.
