Photos by Brad Goldstein – Carlos Santana is a Mexican-American rock guitarist who became famous in the late 1960s and early 1970s with his band, Santana. His unique blend of rock, Latin, and jazz music, as well as his virtuosic guitar playing, made him one of the most influential guitarists of his time. Santana has won numerous Grammy Awards and is known for hits such as “Black Magic Woman,” “Oye Como Va,” and “Smooth.” He continues to tour and record music to this day.
