McLachlan began her music career in the late 1980s and gained international fame in the 1990s with hits such as “Building a Mystery,” “Angel,” and “I Will Remember You.”
McLachlan’s music is often characterized by its emotional depth, melancholic melodies, and introspective lyrics. She has won multiple Grammy Awards and Juno Awards for her work, as well as being inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 2017.
