The band’s original lineup consisted of Wayne Coyne on vocals and guitar, Michael Ivins on bass, and Richard English on drums. They are known for their psychedelic sound and visually stunning live shows, featuring elaborate costumes and stage props such as giant hamster balls. The Flaming Lips have released over 15 studio albums, including the critically acclaimed “The Soft Bulletin” and “Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots.” They have also collaborated with a variety of artists, including Miley Cyrus and Kesha. Throughout their career, The Flaming Lips have garnered a strong cult following and are considered one of the most innovative and influential bands in modern rock music.
