John Maksym, a Canadian artist from Kitchener, Ontario, transitioned from leading alternative rock bands to forging his path as a solo artist. Influenced by musicians like Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong and Bruce Springsteen, to mentors such as Tony Robbins and Bob Proctor, he has become known for his Motivational Modern Rock style.
After years of refining his stage presence and performance skills while on tour, John mirrored his passion for personal development in his music. During the pandemic, he collaborated with over 20 musicians from 7 different countries, leading to the album “Freedom on the Other Side of Fear” – a testament to overcoming limitations.
Several of John’s songs, including “New Vibration,” “Drinkin’ & Thinkin’,” and “Planet,” achieved recognition as semi-finalists in prestigious Nashville-based songwriting competitions.
