Atlanta’s Jonathan Brenner has dropped the catchiest song, this side of 1976. With super-tight horn arrangements and an addicting chorus, “Silly Little Habit” feels like that song that plays in the background of a movie montage, when that ragtag band of misfits finally start getting their act together.

The song’s lyrics seem to suggest someone who loves their partner, but can’t stay committed. They’ve just got to get past this silly little habit that they’re going through.

I’ll be okay when I get out the door
How can you say you don’t love me anymore?
How will I explain to my poor heart what’s in my brain
When you’re gone?

Jonathan’s music career began in earnest in 2016 when he decided to record his debut album with producer Billy Gewin at the legendary Cave Cricket Studio in Tucker, Georgia. The two quickly discovered that they shared similar musical sensibilities and embarked on a two-and-a-half year musical adventure that became Brenner’s debut LP, Playin’ Hooky with My Baby, enlisting a virtual who’s who of the Atlanta music scene in bringing Jonathan’s artistic vision to fruition.

This song is as catchy as they come. “Silly Little Habit” can be found on the LP, Instagram Success, out May 3rd, on Waterloo 103 Music.  You can find it on all of your favorite streaming locations, as well as Brenner’s website.
