Breakout Canadian artist and CMT’s Next Women Of Country 2021 Class member SACHA has returned with the release of her sophomore EP, We Did. Stepping out onto the global stage following the success of her recent collaboration with The Reklaws, this new release delivers a more personal side of country music’s fastest rising star. The very personal title track “We Did” — a nostalgic telling of young love— is set to take over Canadian country airwaves next month. Today’s release also marks SACHA’s debut with Starseed Entertainment and only a small peek into what she has coming this Fall when she drops her debut full-length album.

“I love the fact that storytelling is the foundation of country music and that I have been given the opportunity to tell mine with this new music,” said SACHA of today’s 4-track release. “‘We Did’” has this T-Swift, fall hard, first love, shot to the heart, nostalgic, energy to it. It’s the type of music I’ve always wanted to release. With these new tracks, I can’t help but feel I’m releasing music that speaks to who I am, which is a new feeling for me. I’m so excited for everyone to hear it. ”

Named the Sounds Like Nashville 2022 Artist to Watch, SACHA has already made quite the name for herself since winning The Next Country Music Star (2016). We Did gives fans a glimpse into a new side of SACHA as she reveals a window into the journey from her debut EP The Best Thing in 2020, until now. Showcasing her evolution and growth as an artist over the past two years, the 4 track EP features three new songs, “We Did,” “Pretty Please” and “If I Wanted Wine,” with each bringing a fiercer attitude than the previous, proving SACHA’s drive to overcome adversity and show the world that no matter what challenges are faced, hard work, determination and love can break down any wall.

“The last year has seen so much of my work come to fruition,” said SACHA of her journey in 2021. “Over the years I’ve knocked on doors that never opened, but one YES changed everything and now, because of that, I’m standing smack dab in the middle of my wildest dreams coming true. I hope as I share more of my story and music I can be living proof to anyone who has a dream and can’t possibly fathom how it will become a reality that it IS possible, as long as you believe, work hard and don’t quit.”

With today’s release, SACHA will be featured as Spotify’s RADAR Canada Artist for the month of February. By joining Spotify’s acclaimed global emerging artists program, fans will have the opportunity to learn more about the breakout artist with their “Get To Know” and “Clips” series through short videos and editorial support on official Spotify playlists. She has also been named Amazon Music’s Breakthrough Artist of the Month for February which will see her heavily featured across key genre playlists and stations.

Already no stranger to success, fans across Canada got to know SACHA when she joined the multi-JUNO nominated duo The Reklaws for their viral TikTok hit “What The Truck” last year. Becoming the most-streamed Canadian country song ever released during a one-week period and the fastest-ever Canadian country song to go GOLD in the streaming era (under 16 weeks), SACHA took the stage to perform the track to crowds across the country this past summer, including the Calgary Stampede and Budweiser Stage in Toronto as well as a close out performance on the 2021 CCMA Awards national broadcast from London, ON. In 2021 SACHA also became iHeartRadio’s “Future Star” following the success of her empowering anthem and previous single “Standards,” and was named as a member of CMT’s Next Women Of Country Class. She’ll be heading out on the road across the US in 2022 with Maddie and Tae on the CMT Next Women of Country Tour Presents: All Song No Static Tour.

Clearly this is just the beginning for the burgeoning entertainer as fans and industry alike on both sides of the border continue to take notice of the unstoppable force that is SACHA.
