Photos by Amanda Daubert – Steel Panther is riding high on hookers, cocaine, and the success of their latest album On The Prowl, while kicking ass and taking names through the states. Tuesday night they dropped in on Baltimore, Maryland taking the stage at Rams Head Live with their brothers in rock Crobot and Tragedy. In a room filled with leather, lace, and enough Aqua Net to warrant a fire hazard, these three bands were ready to rock!

Taking the stage first was Tragedy, your all metal tribute band to the Bee Gees & Beyond, and yes…it was just as awesome as you’d expect! With high octane covers of 70’s and 80’s hits like: their namesake “Tragedy,” “It’s Raining Men,” “Sweet Caroline,” and many more, it was the perfect way to start the night.

Up next was Pennsylvania powerhouses, Crobot. Taking the stage in an electric chair, the audience knew from the start they were in for a one-of-a-kind performance. Their high energy music, stage presence, and powerful vocals were all in harmony, treating fans to “Electrified,” “Gasoline,” “Without Wings,” and crowd favorite “Low Life,” amongst several others in their packed set.

Then finally, our main event, the men of the hour, Steel Panther! Fans filled the room rocking their headbands, teased hair, and guy-liner, just waiting to scream along to all of their favorite songs. An entertaining mix of stand-up, improv, and hair metal, the evening did not disappoint. Steel Panther treated fans to set list staples “Asian Hookers,” “All I Wanna Do is Fuck (Myself Tonight),” and “Death to All But Metal.” They also debuted songs off of their recently released album On The Prowl, “1987,” and a stripped down acoustic rendition of “Ain’t Dead Yet.” Fans laughed, sang, were verbally abused and sexually objectified…and they loved every minute of it.

Don’t miss your chance to catch Steel Panther as they continue their US tour through April before taking a quick break and heading over to Europe through June! And make sure to check out their latest album On The Prowl, out on all your favorite streaming services!
