Toronto-based country-rock artist Suzi Kory‘s latest single entitled “Love Revolution”, was inspired by a feeling that humanity would be going through a drastic change towards love in 2020. Released independently, the bluesy gospel-inspired track is an anthem urging people to create change through acts of love. “Love Revolution” is Kory’s fifth release from her upcoming 2020 EP, Love Revolution, co-written and produced by Brent Woods (Sebastian Bach, Foo Fighters’ Taylor Hawkins, and Vince Neil).
More on Suzi Kory:
Born in Beirut, Kory‘s parents moved the family to Toronto when she was eight months old. Her mother, a devoted fan of country music would continuously play classic country, and Kory found herself singing along. By her teens, she became exposed to hard rock.
Having spent several years abroad, it was after her move back to North America and a fateful meeting with her idol and inspiration Axl Rose that the fire to write and perform was reignited.
She released her first EP, ‘Spellcasting’ in 2017, supporting it with a string of shows in Toronto and LA at the legendary Whisky a Go-Go as well as Brazil. Her songs received radio airplay across Canada, the United States, the Netherlands, UK, the Middle East, Brazil, and New Zealand.
Since 2018 Kory began working with producer Brent Woods and has released 4 singles with her latest classic country ballad ‘Settle of the Dust‘ recently being described as ‘A lusciously arranged ballad reminiscent of Linda Ronstadt’s glorious country roots’ by FYI Music News.
Kory currently boasts over 75K streams on Spotify, 43K streams on Youtube and her music can also currently be heard on Sirius XM.
