Based in São Paulo / Brazil, THE DAMNNATION consist of Renata Petrelli (vocals, guitar), Aline Dutchi (bass, backing vocals), and Ellen Diniz (drums). In 2020 they dropped a four-track EP entitled “Parasite”, on which the raging fist of old school Heavy Metal hit the skull of Thrash Metal. Imagine the love child of Judas Priest, Megadeth, and Power Trip if you will.
The thrash metal power trio is signed to Dutch label Soulseller Records. “We are very happy with this support and to be part of this cast with incredible bands from the world stage! We’re definitely going to have an incredible road together!”
The album received great reviews on several websites and specialized magazines such as Decibel Magazine, Metal Injection, Rock Hard, Zero Tolerance, Metal Hammer, among others. The Damnation played major shows across Brazil to promote and record and will embark on a late 2022 tour of Latin America.
Recently the band announced the departure of the great drummer Luana Diniz, who recorded and performed at ‘Way Of Perdition’, and announced the entry of the new drummer, Ellen Tavares, who will record the band’s new album scheduled for the end of 2023.
Now, the power trio will strike back even heavier – be prepared!
