“Whatever It Takes”, an Americana/Folk ballad reflects upon the challenges of forming a family, the transformation of love and the power of sticking together through thick and thin. Juana Everett Bio:
Nothing is more interesting to Juana Everett than a place she doesn’t know, the next turn in the trail, the new person in the room. She’s an explorer and an adventurer at heart.
Unsatisfied with the life she had built in her late 20s, she left her job and her apartment in Madrid, and crossed the ocean on hardcore Sagittarius mode to produce her first solo album in LA.
Rough years were ahead. Sometimes distance only accentuates the pain and trauma you leave back home. Everett worked as a studio assistant and honed her songwriting and producing skills in the jungle that is the city of Angels, until she finally felt ready to produce her own material.
She self-released “Move On” in 2021. A collection of songs that proved her honesty and grit as a singer-songwriter, and gave her some recognition from local media and NPR. But most importantly helped her navigate one of the darkest psychological periods of her life.

But so much has happened since then. So many road trips, roaming on the PCH, facing wind in the desert, talking to strangers, diving into the poetry of their lives, and their darkness. Travels and encounters that helped Everett navigate her own pain.
In January of 2024 she embarked on a cross country journey to Nashville, TN. A new adventure began. The stars aligned in Music City and within 4 months Everett got in the studio to record the songs that she’s been crafting over the last few years.
‘Past Lives in California’ is the title of her upcoming album, set to be released in Friday, May 22nd 2026 via Great Canyon Records. This new body of work is her ode to the Golden State, a journey through the lives she got to live there, the myths that crumbled into pieces, and the people that changed her forever.
Without any doubt her best work yet, coming to your ears very soon.
