The heart of the opening day revolves around an impressive lineup of over 30 premier Ontario craft breweries and beverage makers. Festival-goers use their sampling tokens to explore a diverse and rotating tap list, ranging from crisp, refreshing summer lagers and tart fruit ciders to bold, experimental IPAs and rich stouts. Complementing the extensive drink selection is an array of local specialty food trucks serving up delicious, hearty fare designed to pair perfectly with the artisanal brews on offer.

Beyond the tasting tents, Day 1 offers a variety of interactive experiences that keep the energy high well into the night. Attendees can challenge friends at a free, nostalgic retro arcade featuring classic cabinet games or unwind with unique activities like beer yoga along the waterfront. The grounds are thoughtfully laid out to encourage socializing, wandering between vendor booths, and soaking in the lakeside breeze, ensuring there is plenty to do between brewery visits.

As dusk falls, the focus shifts to the main stage for an energetic night of live music that serves as the ultimate kickoff to the weekend. The Day 1 musical lineup delivers a heavy dose of nostalgia and crowd-pleasing anthems, highlighted by dynamic performances from high-energy cover bands Wing Night (The Band) and Born in the Eighties.
