With more than 100 feature-film scores to his name, Elfman has built a remarkable career spanning film, television, classical music, stage and rock. His long-running creative partnership with Tim Burton has produced some of cinema’s most recognizable scores, including Batman, Edward Scissorhands, Beetlejuice, Alice in Wonderland and The Nightmare Before Christmas. His background as the frontman and songwriter of Oingo Boingo continues to influence the adventurous, theatrical edge that defines his work.
2026 has been another particularly active year for Elfman. He has continued his work in film with scores for Sam Raimi’s Send Help and Gus Van Sant’s Deadman’s Wire, while his music has also remained prominent on the concert stage. His year has included performances celebrating his film work, including The Music of Danny Elfman with the Pittsburgh Symphony, alongside international appearances that showcase his music in an orchestral setting.
