Photos by Orest Dorosh – Revelree Music Festival kicked off its 2025 edition with a sun-soaked Friday lineup at scenic Canatara Park—and Day 1 didn’t disappoint. With Lake Huron as the backdrop, festivalgoers were treated to a seamless mix of emerging talent, homegrown heroes, and big-name headliners.
Opening the afternoon was Kingston’s Luscious, winners of the “Road to Revelree” contest, who brought infectious energy and tight harmonies. Toronto’s A Short Walk to Pluto followed, impressing with punchy alt-rock straight from their debut album.
Local favourites The Action Figures kept the Sarnia pride strong, while Texas King amped things up with their polished rock sound. The biggest buzz, though, came from JJ Wilde, whose gritty vocals and electric stage presence had the crowd fully locked in.
Closing out the night, The Sheepdogs delivered a feel-good, riff-heavy set that had fans dancing well past sundown—proof that rock ‘n’ roll still reigns at Revelree.
